robert, i've given you my contact information and i'm going to pm it again - please please please pass it along to whomever has the cat right now.. i have pets, and it would kill me to think that, if i were dreadfully sick or lay dying, that my beloved pets were going to be dumped into an animal pound or put down, just because no one would take them..... to you, perhaps, it's just a cat, but the cat was oompa's 'friend', and i'd like to try to save him.. as to 'biting' - heck, i've two cats right now who are - actually, were - 'biters'.
they both stopped biting after they'd been here in a loving, stable environment for a while - well, that, and when they bit me, i grabbed 'em by the scruff and told them in no uncertain terms that that sort of behavior would not be tolerated.... both have stopped biting - well, chomper [guess how he got his name?
] still gives me little 'love nips', but nothing like he used to.... so please, let's not write off oompa's cat yet!!!.

To funny Hortensia.. I love this woman too.
I've always called turkey the vehicle meat, much like tofu.
It's something for all the yummy sides and fresh tangy cranberry sause to hitch a ride on.
It can make a good sandwich, if you have dark fresh rye bread , butter leaf lettuce, mayo, Tapitio Sause (I use it on everything accept in my coffee;-), cranberry sause, etc. But you know, the last bight you take , the corner end that has no turkey in it , well it taste the same as the middle.
while i am no fan of mother teresa after reading some of the revealed facts about her life and work - i thought this was just a little out of the realm of polite conversation (but was interesting):.
atheist group at dartmouth plans anti mother teresa event.. .

I'm sorry to hear you are so sick. In spite of this, you do so much for others. Friends and strangers.
In my book you are 'sainthood material'. You have my admiration.
If I could, I would give you a big hug.
one parallel i always remember is that jehovah god is likened to a loving father.
i have often wondered what kind of loving parent would go out indefinitely, not say where they were and leave their kids a vague and cryptic note of what to do while they were gone?
i have wondered what kind of parent would make it hard for their kids to figure out exactly what was expected of them, or watch them fail miserably from a distance.
My "imperfect' Human Father is a billion times more loving than the 'Father' of the Old Testament.
Heck , I would have been eaten by bears as a kid. or stoned as a teen for some trivial thing. Or someting that my parents did, may have given me a soaking in the Flood.
would you have not taken a blood transfusion or a transplant because the gb said it was bad?.
would you have imitated the jws in concentration camps and died for your beliefs?.
LisaRose
I lived in terror of the concentration camp. I had re-acurring dreams of my parents being shot , exicution style by Gustapo looking men at a very young age , Plus I was hiding ..guilt. . When I was in my 30s I read everything about Hitler's Germany , I had piles of books. Why? I wanted to know why??? MY daughter is the same. She has the same fear.
Growing up in the 70s , that horrible yearbook, with the graphic stories, was so scary.

Tiki look up 'generational trama'. It helped me understand what one can (inderectically?) mentally and physically feel.
I'm happy to hear you are doing well.
so i moved to another hall to better help me fade.
so far it's been great although it is a very long and annoying process!
so i'm very good friends with the coordinating elder in the new hall since we've known each other for years and so instead of mailing them to the other hall he decided to pass them on to my dad so he could give them to me and for me to give them to the other hall.
I was told, ounce I went out in service, then a new pub card would be made. I never went out again.
so weary i was from a walk in the woods .
that i lay to rest at the foot of an alder tree,.
finding sweet repose on a cool nest of leaves.. .
Im a hack CoCo :-(
I wrote my memories of a favorite movie, Imortal Beloved.
You tube "Od To Joy", you will see the scene at which I will never forget.
I watched it on a big screen in Santa Cruz with my daughter, whom I was trying to incourage to continue with her piano studies.
